Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS) is awarded to international students who are admitted by universities in Beijing and who have demonstrated exceptional talent in academics.

According to the amount of the aid, BGS is divided into different levels that ranging from 5,000RMB /person/year to 30,000RMB /person/year. The scholarship is available for undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral students, and Chinese language students to do tuition fee remission (no cash back to applicants). Any other expenses are self-funded.
